Arrived in Roma last night at 8:05pm, about 2:oopm Perth time, having left Perth airport at 6:00am (17 hrs of traveling). After our arrival we drove through the historica centrale of Roma and saw some amazing night views, Colosseum etc. (Also lots of people out in the piazzas enjoying Saturday night, we even saw a wedding) Everyone helpful and happy in Roma so far. Hotel cenral and comfortable and staff helpful. We saw enough of Rome last night to know that we will have an exciting couple of days here before heading to Vasto. Everyone is looking forward to today, Pizza, Gelato, Pasta, shopping and sight seeing. The girls have been fantastic, not one whinge after a very long day of traveling.
